How can we forget about the comb coil starter! The hair is parted and with a fine-toothed comb, the hair is wrapped and twisted creating a beautiful coil. Another option would be to use your fingers instead of the comb. This technique can be used for folx with shorter hair and tends to take a bit longer to loc up.
