On December 07, 1942, Reginald F. Lewis was born in Baltimore, MD. Lewis attended Virgina State University for undergrad and Harvard for Law School. He was a partner to the first black law firm on Wall Street., Murphy, Thorpe, & Lewis. Lewis became one of the richest African Americans in the 1980s as he was first black American to build a billion dollar company.
