Green Greens



Ingredients:

  • 1 banana

  • 2 c fresh spinach (or kale)

  • 1/2 c cucumber pieces

  • 1/2 c pineapple pieces

  • 1/4 c mango pieces

  • 1 c water (add more if necessary for desired consistency)

  • Optional: Tinct it up! (add the tincture of your choice)

Directions: Toss into your blender and whip it up to the desired consistency. You can also strain this one for fewer pulpy fibers.

This week I've been experiencing more muscle pain than normal and wanted to add some CBD to this smoothie & get that extra GREEN in my greens. I used Lazerus' Full-Spectrum CBD Classic tincture and added approx 150mg to my smoothie. This tincture has a bit of a harsh finish which I find to be common with tinctures, but it didn't affect the flavor as some might.

! Remember, when adding cannabis in any form to your smoothies, slow and low is the way to do it until you have a good grasp of your tolerance!
