Drizzy in the Canna Bizzy

Back in 2019, the world-famous artist Drake had a 60% joint venture interest called More Life with Canada’s top cannabis producer Canopy Growth.
However, after being dropped from Canopy back in June, Drake now joins his longtime best friend and music producer Noah “40” Shebib in his own cannabis venture called Bullrider.
A few years back, Noah teamed up with co-founder of OVO Sound Label, Jeff Tek, who engineered the coveted strain called Afghani Bullrider. This strain has helped Noah manage his debilitating symptoms from dealing with multiple sclerosis over the years. Noah and Jeff created the cannabis company Bullrider together to provide this medical strain to the public.
Drake has a long list of successful ventures he’s been involved with such as a fashion line, fragrant candles, and liquor. He now hopes he can execute the same with cannabis by joining Bullrider.
Although his venture with Canopy went south, joining forces with Noah will likely be successful given Noah’s expertise and knowledge in cannabis.
It also helps that they’re very successful best friends who have worked together for over a decade, producing some of the most iconic music together. Cannabis has also been an integral part in both of their creativities when making music so it’s hard to not see how this venture wouldn’t be successful.
Drake’s role in Bullrider is not limited to just being an investor. His celebrity power is unmatched here. With that comes his ability to advise and create strategic plans on how Bullrider can expand into the North American market.
Bullrider will open its first store in Brampton right outside of Toronto later this month. They are using a farm-gate model which allows consumers to purchase cannabis directly from where it’s grown.
