Another great option for protective styling is the braid aka plaits. Part your moisturized hair into sections (sometimes the smaller the sections the more moisturized your hair will stay), grab three even pieces of hair in between your fingers, and braid down. It is usually a good idea to tuck your ends so they aren't exposed. Plaits are great for up-do’s or pullbacks. Plaits tend to be less malleable than twists but are still a great option
