Peaches & Green
adapted from The Kitchn's Frozen Peach Bourbon Mule.
1 peach
1/4” piece of fresh ginger
1 cup greek yogurt (or alt yogurt of your choice, cashew could be good here due to it’s tangy-ness)
1 cup ice
1/2 lime, juiced
Fresh mint sprigs, for garnish
Tincture of your choice (I just finished my new golden dragon tincture and wanted to try it out)
Drop all of the ingredients into the blender and whip it up!
There are a couple of ways you can incorporate cannabis into this smoothie outside of using a tincture: You could make your own canna-infused yogurt or you could just toss some decarbed flower into the blender. Both of these methods will be more “weed-forward” in flavor so, remember to do a bit of taste-testing along the way. Don’t be afraid to cut your infused ingredients with the non-dosed version.
Also, I used Everclear to make my tincture because the higher alcohol content increases the potency but, you can experiment with other spirits. If you wanted to be true to the recipe this smoothie is based on, you could infuse your favorite bourbon and maybe add a little extra!
Whichever method you use, make sure you are aware of your dosing. Do what feels right to you and start small! And, let us know what you think!
