Ginger, Turmeric, & Lemon Shots.

Ingredients
12 oz fresh ginger
12 oz fresh turmeric
3 medium lemons
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions:
Wash the turmeric and ginger well (I use organic ginger and turmeric).You can choose to peel the ginger & turmeric but, I just wash it really well with a vegetable brush & leave the skins on.
Add the lemon juice.
Whip it all up in the juicer/blender.
If you are using a blender, you will need to strain the pulp out. I use a fine-mesh sieve and cheesecloth over a large measuring cup. Pour the mixture into the cheesecloth-draped sieve and squeeeeeeze* Repeat until you’ve got all of the juice out of the pulp.
*This can get messy & turmeric will stain your hands, clothes, and even your countertops if you are not careful! I use gloves, and working in batches also helps keep the mess to a minimum.
Mix in the black pepper. This is needed to help get all the benefits from turmeric.
Store in the fridge, in a glass container. Shake before serving yourself a shot first thing in the morning.
