How you do it:
Begin on your bike with your hands in the center of the back bar in first position. With your shoulders squared and your abs pulling in towards your spine, send your elbows downwards in a crunch motion. Simultaneously exhale as you pull abs in and drop your elbows. The breath adds to the crunch and gives you a deeper sensation in your abs.
Where you feel it:
You will feel your cycle crunches in your lower abdominal muscles and throughout your side body. You will also feel it in your tricep muscles.
How often:
You have to add cycle crunches in every cycle ride because it's an essential.
