Cobra to Puppy



Begin in your all fours position with your hands under your shoulders and fingers spread wide. Your knees should be placed directly under your hips and kept in this position through both stretches. Next, slide your hands forward to straighten your arms and simultaneously drop your hips towards your mat to straighten your legs. With arms and legs extended straight, gaze up, drop your shoulders and open your chest as you stretch. You have the option to slightly bend your arms while keeping your elbows close to your body. You have another option to move your head side to side, up and down, and/or in a circular motion. From here, send your hips high and align them right over your knees while simultaneously reaching your arms forward and dropping your chest down. From here, rest your forehead on your mat and repeat.
