Barre Stretch



We perform our barre strech like midway through our Rhythm & Barre class to open up our side body and lengthen our muscles. To begin, place your right leg on the barre, aligning your right leg directly in front of your hip and your left leg directly under your hip. Rotate your left toes out to a forty-five degree angle and add a slight bend through your left leg. Slide your right leg forward to the left a few inches and extend your left arm towards the center of the room. Then, send your arm up and over towards the barre while reaching your finger tips towards the barre. Your goal is to create a curve through your left arm to achieve as much length as possible. Repeat as many times as you'd like and perform the same stretch on the left side. For more guidance, attend our Rhythm & Barre stretch this Sunday in the city at 11am.
