The 2018 Farm Bill
The 2018 Farm Bill was implemented by Former President Donald Trump and expressly reserves the authority to the Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) to regulate certain manufactured hemp products (including many CBD products). This bill defines “Hemp” as having less than .3% Delta-9 THC, whereas “marijuana” is defined as having greater than .3% Delta-9 THC.
