Cannabis + Trademarks
The Controlled Substances Act (CSA) prohibits, among other things, the manufacturing, distributing, dispensing, or possessing of cannabis that meets the definition of marijuana. Examination of marks for services involving cannabis and cannabis production are still not allowed on the Federal level. An exception exists for applicants who apply for paraphernalia associated with pot shops.
