Transporting Cannabis
While cannabis is legal in California, TSA is bound by federal law and federal law will always triumph state law. If you possess less than 28.5 grams of cannabis or 8 grams of concentrated cannabis and you are 21 years of age or older, technically your possession is legal under state law. However, if you're transporting your legally possessed cannabis in an airport, TSA can confiscate your cannabis and notify federal authorities.
